Reading of Kenneth Cavander’s translation of Antigone directed by Ricardo Riethmuller. The translation was commissioned by the Royal Shakespeare Company. The reading will be followed by a discussion lead by Mr. Cavander, Mr. Riethmuller and actor Nina Smilow who plays Antigone. According to Mr. Cavander, the event is, to his knowledge, the world premier of this translation (albeit a very informal one). Admission is by private invitation.
